About Our Cobs...
All of our cobs undergo an evaluation period prior to their sale to enable us to ascertain their behaviour in different situations and the type of rider/owner they would best suit. This trial period also allows us to get to know their individual characteristics.
Our trial consists of two parts. If the cob has been broken the first trial is under saddle. Each cob is ridden in traffic which includes farm machinery and hgvs, hacked alone and in company, ridden in a school environment and also jumped over natural, coloured poles and a small course of x-country fences. The second part of the trial involves observing their behaviour in everyday situations. These include being around children and dogs, clipping/bathing – weather permitting, stable manners, loading into a horse lorry or trailer and a visit from the farrier.
All cobs are sold with passports and are wormed.
Delivery can be arranged to anywhere in the world at buyers expense. |
