We are delighted and extremely proud to present to you

Son Of A Gun’

DOB - October 2006               Stud fee:  POA

You cannot begin to imagine the lengths we went to to buy this colt! The amount of begging, pleading and constant grovelling to get the travellers to even consider selling him just can’t be put into words! After what has seemed like an eternity he is ours and will be standing at stud in 2010 to a very limited amount of mares.

Frisbee as he is affectionately known is shown here as a just turned two year old. They show him tethered whilst still residing with his previous owners. Although his mane and tail haven’t been washed out I think you’ll agree he still looks superb. Recent photos will appear shortly once I’ve removed the majority of the field he is wearing – he does love the mud, much to my disappointment!!!

The calibre of this exceptionally well bred boy is all too obvious and he is everything a true gypsy cob should be. His bloodlines include ‘The Old Paddy Horse’ and ‘Lion King’ on his dam’s side and his sire is by the one and only ‘Shogun Horse’. A copy of Frisbees DNA fingerprint is held on file.

Fris was foaled very late in 2006, he's expected to mature approx 15hh. The icing on an already delicious cake is that Frisbee is homozygous, ensuring that all progeny will be coloured.

Bookings are now being taken for the 2010 season. Only natural covering in hand or running is available.  These will be strictly limited.

'Odwig'

Standing for the first time in 2010.
A coloured like no other!!!!! Spot the difference!!!!!

Od is a one off! No matter how hard you look you won't find another like him!

As well as being a rare snowflake spotted, with a frosted blanket he's DNA tested as hetrozygous tobiano (minimally marked - has a 'lightning style' flash under his mane and three triangles of white over body)!!!! His foals are bound to be EXTREMELY colourful in one way or another!

Od, at the age of just rising three measures 14.2hh at the wither but a good 14.3hh at his rump - we therefore expect him to finally finish around 15hh. He has much maturing to do but already has plenty of bone, feather and hair - something that is almost unheard of when accompianied by spots!  Give him another year and he'll be simply amazing.  The photos of him here are just field pics where he's still hanging onto some of his winter woolies, he could also do with gaining a few extra pounds as he's recently been in work and lost a bit - I hope to get new photos after a bath soon.

Odd is an exceptionally kind and gentle colt.  He's first to meet you in the field and a pleasure to do in all respects.  He's started his education and will be out undersaddle next year - he has probably been one of the easiest horses I've ever had to break.

Only a few coverings will be offered this year.

‘Monkey Boy'

Standing in Scotland for 2010 season

YOB - 2007                    Stud fee:  POA

This lad is one Chunky Monkey and he shouts Gypsy through and through.

Monkeys substance, quality, colour and type was always a giveaway but Monkey is no longer believed to be bred from ‘The Lob Eared Stallion’ bloodlines this is CONFIRMED!

He is by Fleetwood aka Toni Smiths Black horse who was by Lob. The Lob and Fleetwood are renowned worldwide. Sadly both Lob and Fleetwood have now passed away so it's down to Monkey and his siblings (many of which are no longer in the UK) to carry on the fantastic qualities they've inherited from their sire and grandsire.

Pictured above Monkeys sire - Fleetwood

Monkey already has an abundance of thick curly mane, tail and moustache which is accompianied by enormous bone surrounded by more than plentiful feather, in fact it falls on the ground from every angle. He's a superb young stallion who has the manners of a saint and is of perfect proportions.

Even at this young age he is an impressive sight and with maturity I’m sure his looks will prove not just impressive but unforgettable. We expect him to mature around 14.2hh in height and probably just as wide!

The photo above was taken taken in 2008 when he was about 18mths old, he is now even thicker set and more handsome if that's possible! Up to date photos will be added shortly.

Standing in Scotland for 2010, only natural covering will be available.
